31 Days of Halloween - Day 17 - Black and White

Absolutely NO color today! Not a bit. Like we are back in the 1920s and we are watching a silent movie.

You don't always have to add color to line art. Many times, an image can speak loud and clear in just black and white. Many projects are very striking in black and white. Or even white on white. Here I used the Neutrals stack DSP as my patterned paper. And the adorable cookie cutter Halloween Stamp set to have my critters peeking out from my windows.

31 Days of Halloween - Day 16 - Jar of Haunts Luminary

Yoooouuu light up my life.... you give me hope to carry on.... You light up my days and fill my nights with song...... Ah, Debbie Boone... 

And now you have that song stuck in your head. If you don't know that song, go get your mother because you are too young!!! Or perhaps you should just "boogle" it and you can hear what is in everyone else's heads right now...

Sorry,... again, I digress...

Here's the project for today... isn't is :"enlightening"? ok, that was punny!!!

These are the luminaries that will be lining my sidewalk on all hallows eve. They hold a battery powered tea light and will light the path for the sweet little trick or treaters to my front door for their treats. Or, if my husband answers the door... their tricks. lol

I used several different colored card stocks and cut jars out of each of the side panels from the everyday jar framelits. Then I stamped jars from the jar of haunts onto vellum and adhered it to the open jar areas.

31 Days of Halloween - Day 15 - Diamond Fold Card

Let's make a fun fold card that has a diamond shape for a front! I love fun fold cards, don't you? I used timeless textures and jar of haunts for the stamping on this card.

I will say this was one of my more challenging projects. Not because it was extremely difficult to create, but those folds on the middle flap wanted to go every which way but loose! I finally gave them the what for and they settled down into place. I was pleased with the final result though.

31 Days of Halloween - Day 14 Peanut Butter Candy Treat Bag

It has been 2 whole weeks of Halloween projects and I ain't slowin down now, baby!!

Today's project features my all time favorite Halloween candy... the peanut butter chew. I know, I know... I love all of the candy that everyone hates. My kids come home from trick or treating and they always give me the "gross" candy. The peanut butter kisses, mary jane candy, candy corn. I have never been a fan of chocolate, so all of these "gross" candies are right up my alley!!! I used the adorable Mr. Funny Bones stamp set to make a sweet bag topper for these candies.

I'm all about the puns, so I HAD to use the sentiment that read "oh snap" and made the skeleton look like he had snapped his arm off. How funny is that??? I am so juvenile... sigh.
